The Corsages!

The angel is marked West Germany, and was scored at the local thrift. She has brass wings, stamped out of a sheet of metal. The reflector is one of the really early ones. I added vintage chenille and pushed little wooden green bells on the ends, and a bit of pink german glass glitter in the ends. The fabulous fuschia ribbon was probably made for easter baskets. The base ribbon is actually vintage blanket binding. This one is hubby's favorite, and he won't let me sell it!

This one is my favorite. I drilled an old dice, and glued wires on the back of the plastic pony pieces. I covered the hole in the reflector with a snail of tinsel and added the vintage plastic cameo. So this is "The lady bets on the horses". The reflector back on this one is the same kind as the angel. I had intended to use a gold one, but I got distracted!!

Here is the angel again, on my heavy coat. Oops, the lining isnt ready so no pic of the coat, yet! This shows what it looked like before I added the glitter to the ends of the chenille. What a difference that tiny touch made.

We have been to 2 performances of Millikin University's Vespers. Vespers means evening prayers. It is a choral and orchestral performance, and our little Leah is performing, singing in it, in front of sold out audiences! It was amazing. Since it is recorded, and they sell the CD's, I was not allowed to record it or take photos, boohoo. She has 2 more performances today. So not much time for creating. Hope you like my pins, and take a peek at my printed image and rag ones in my etsy shop!

Leah in her uniform, the kids wear red bows and navy blazers onstage. Her friend is borrowing a silk kimono since it is a rather dressy affair.

Absolutely amazing! I love the pony corsage. The striped ribbon really makes it pop. The little angel ones are sweet, too. Great corsages!
