Pfreaky Pfright Pfatt Halloween in June!

Giveaway Alert! PFATT Marketplace for June 10 is having doorprizes for our SPOOKtacular event! Here is my contribution, a PIN! I took a very vintage badge frame and added a spider with Japanese vintage glass eyes! I drilled holes in little pumpkins that my friend Sheryl gave me when she was destashing, and they made great beads! I added some goldtone chain and a little kitty charm, and voila! It looks like the spider is too shy to climb out of the frame!
I will have all Halloween items for this June 10th event, so mark your calendars!

PS my ebay blue bird and ducky are ending Saturday night, and they are very affordable.

I have a happy little fellow this week on eBay now. I subbed at school this week so I realize this is slim pickens, not much done. So I decided to relist my unsold blue ducky, apparently an ugly ducky. I thought he was really cute, with his vintage fabric ball and old plastic nut cup umbrella! The lilies of the valley are blooming and my beloved indigo buntings are back! Life is good. Time to clean out the pond. This is not a job for the faint of heart, and you need a set of chest waders and a lot of buckets to put all the goo and debris that have accumulated over the winter. This year there are so many baby goldfish, I must try and find homes for them. FREE FISH!!!Here is the relisted ducky, and really he's quite a looker!


I used very old vintage duck braid on his pincushion, and a very old buckle. So happy and bright. Simply charming. If you are charmed as well, he is on eBay now. You will find the link for my auctions on the right side of my blog.

Purple!

Lilacs this year are stunning, last year we were robbed by a late frost and got none. We also had no fruit. It killed all the apples, cherries and flowers. This year I am enjoying every fleeting moment.

Spring time on the Farm

I love my apple tree, it is so tall, not having been pruned in many years.



The cardinals are nesting in the shrub just outside my picture window.
