Beaureguard Bear

This guy is ready to "batter up"! He is very tall, 32" and made of german mohair, german wool felt, german glass eyes, and stuffed with excelsior. He's anxious to get to his new home, where baseball is a passion, and he knows this, as I have told him so! I will kiss him goodbye, and send him off to Jim's house, where he will be doted on, and also visited by Utta, and his sister bear Amelia. This is the largest size bear I make. If you are interested in adopting a big bear, just let me know.

No Fruit No Flowers No Leaves No Birds

NOVEMBER!

But first a look back to what I did in the waning days of October. I cut my hair, a long bob. My daughter was a scary fairy with goth wings and a black dress, that I last wore when I was 23. She is 11, so she was shocked to learn I could wear that dress when I was twice her age. I cut the scalloped butterfly wings, fashioned a wire armature, and let her sew the fabric to it. I took some time off to clean my cluttered house. I'm still not satisfied with it, but I am getting there. I want the house to be ready for the long days we spend inside now. And some new wall arrangements are in order. I'll try to remember to post what I come up with for Christmas!
Long ago I embraced my gray hair, and now, its actually fashionable. I am really a no fuss no muss kinda gal. I like to wash it and let it dry, pin it up on my head, and when its dry I let it down, its comes out a bit curled on the ends. I think hair dryers dry more than hair, they dry out your skin. Its hard to believe that in a few months I'll be 47. Where did the time go?? Life speeds away, like a runaway train. And when I look at Leah I get pretty nostalgic. I was looking at her baby pictures the other day. Time has indeed flown.
